Teacher appreciation is done every month. For each month listed, a group will be responsible for getting small treats, such as brownies or candy, to the teachers of Central. The most efficient way is to put the treats in the teachers' cubbies in the mail room on the first floor. You can also give treats to support staff. In total, there are 72 teachers and 23 support staff (numbers counted on Central's website, so treat them as an estimate). To participate, sign up for one of the groups of five on the month you want to do it. Please make sure you do the teacher appreciation during the actual month you signed up for (if there's an issue with snow days we'll handle that later). You can add a tag and sign it from NEHS if you want. The last day to sign up for each month is the Monday of the last full week of the month except when a break interrupts the end of the month, like December. Sign up early so you don't miss the opportunity, because if you sign up too late it might already be completed. Once you have participated in teacher appreciation, tell your head of house or email cmsnehs@gmail.com so we have a record of you doing it. This is a group activity, and you are responsible for communicating with your group and deciding what you want to do. If you are working with someone whose contact information you don't have, send them an individual message through Remind or talk to your head of house.
